Congratulations to these 'high shcool' grads with a stupid typo on their diplomas

The 2016 graduates of a California high school were sent out into the world last week with one final, valuable lesson—on the subject of situational irony—when they discovered that a very important word had been misspelled on the covers of their diplomas. 

Congratulations, proud graduates of Ontario High Shcool. You each fully embody the spirit of academic rigor and intellectual curiosity for which your fine shcool stands.

The typographical error apparently originated with the printing company that produced the diplomas, not with the school itself, according to local news station KTLA. But that didn't stop the students from rolling their eyes and getting snarky on social media. Because of all the places to make a mistake like this, a diploma has to be one of the most awkward.

The school district told  KTLA that the students will receive corrected diploma covers, along with an apology letter from the school (which, we hope, will be meticulously proofread.)
