A $12 massage bar known as the Wiccy Magic Muscles is to blame for causing sprouts to take to tubs like a Peeping Tom at a rec center. Meant for massaging muscle aches, the all-natural beaded bar contains peppermint and cinnamon oils for a nifty tingling sensation. It's made up of adzuki beans embedded in shea butter for texture, which they misspell as "aduki." The bar is meant to melt, presumably so you consumers can keep forking over $12 for a massage bar. Once those organic beans start separating and slipping down the drain, all hell breaks loose.
Fans of Asian cuisine may recognize adzuki as those red beans typically turned into paste and injected into pastries. The beans have taken many shapes over the years, from beloved ice cream flavor to legendary anime character. Thanks to LUSH, adzuki can now add "pipe destroyer" to its impressive resume. It's just as nature intended.Photo via Plutor/Flickr (CC BY 2.0)
