Jon Hamm was feeding everyone gummy bears at Bonnaroo

Over the weekend, a bunch of famous people went to Bonnaroo—a music festival that’s kind of like Coachella except it’s held in the filthy backwoods of Tennessee and therefore exponentially better. Goonies star (really) Corey Feldman made an appearance in a bedazzled Michael Jackson-esque jacket, advocating for his own relevancy. Comedian Zach Galifianakis kicked off the Saturday night Superjam, a musical smorgasbord that gets the most disparate artists together for the weirdest jam session you've ever seen.

Oh, and Jon Hamm showed up to feed people gummy bears.

The Mad Men star gave up the gummy bear goods earlier in the day at the comedy tent where Galifianakis was performing, tossing them from a cup and making the comedian kneel down in the dirt as if proposing for marriage before the circus left town. The proposition, however, was candy.

Were they vodka-soaked? We hope so. Knowing Galifianakis, though, they were likely coated in acid and tasted like bourbon. Hamm may have a pretty crappy pitching stance, but he can certainly toss gummy bears with the best of them. And Galifianakis can catch, even on one knee. The act was so inspiring, Hamm reprised it for Belle and Sebastian's set later that day.

Frontman Stuart Murdoch saw Hamm pitching gummy bears like a confectioner Cy Young and was immediately jealous of the burgeoning bromance between Hamm and Galifianakis, which we’re all secretly jealous of now. “I wandered into the comedy tent,” Murdoch says, recounting the one set he caught prior to taking the stage. “That's where I saw Zach. He was being fed gummy bears by a certain friend of his and I thought, 'Why doesn't that ever happen to me? Why can't I be fed gummy bears by a famous person?’” Cue the (mad) man of Murdoch’s dreams running onstage for the gummy bear assist. Hamm was more than game, and Murdoch already had gummy bears with him in some type of cup or tumbler onstage. Again, they were probably vodka-soaked.

Two landed in Murdoch's mouth, then Hamm went H.A.M, throwing candy at the crowd before waving and running offstage again like a damn gummy bear-tossing mercenary. That very special Saturday, Galifianakis and Hamm formed a bond only two men sharing gummy bears can achieve and joined forces again that night, leading the Superjam crowd in a rendition of “We Are The World” for the ages. I can only imagine the collaborations Hamm and Murdoch will enter into now that they’ve been bound by gummy bears. Even Corey Feldman—jealous as he must be—would love it.
